VisitEngland Reveals Finalists for 2014 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence

On the 1st of April, VisitEngland announced the finalists for the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2014. The Awards ceremony will be held at Cheltenham Racecourse on Monday the 12th of May and Quality in Tourism are sponsoring the Bed and Breakfast and Guest Accommodation of the Year Award. Both regional winners and direct entries for the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence are rigorously assessed by independent assessors and judged by a board of tourism industry experts. Carefully chosen by a judging panel, the finalists represent the finest in the industry. Many our of members are up for Awards and will be guaranteed to receive either a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Highly Commended in their category. Quality in Tourism is delighted to see the Tourist Information Centres up for Awards as well and wish them luck. VisitEngland’s Chief Executive James Berresford commented “I would like to congratulate all those nominated as VisitEngland Awards for Excellence finalists this year. We receive hundreds of applications each year of an extremely high standard, so it is a tremendous achievement for any business to become a finalist”.
