Quality in Tourism was delighted to present The Bed and Breakfast / Guest Accommodation of the Year award at the 2013 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence which celebrates success and excellence, providing finalists with a moment of well deserved glory which can be used to promote and improve their businesses further.
Gold Award went to Alkham Court Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, South Alkham, near Dover, Kent who pride themselves in offering some of the best quality bed and breakfast in the South East of England. Guests arrive to fabulous views- with the coast only a couple of miles away; a complimentary welcome drink; individually designed bedrooms and a hot-tub and sauna undercover for our guests to relax in whilst overlooking the garden and stunning Alkham Valley below.
Silver Award went to Pendragon Country House in Camelford, Cornwall. Offering 5 star luxury, guest centric accommodation which is set in relaxed yet sumptuous surroundings offering bed & breakfast and evening meals. With six separate lawns to enjoy, the house also hosts weddings and large events.
Bronze Award went to The Salty Monk Restaurant with Rooms in Sidmouth, Devon. This boutique Bed & Breakfast has been sympathetically restored to provide a luxury and rejuvenating experience. Situated in the SidValley just 1 mile from Sidmouth, Honiton and Cathedral City of Exeter is the perfect place to explore or escape for a romantic break.
