Latest data from the Expedia Group has found that UK accommodation providers have experienced an encouraging amount of growth this Summer due to a significant rise in the amount of domestic travellers deciding to take a 'Staycation'.
The report findings from Q3 of 2017 showed that the demand for trips by domestic travellers increased by over 20% when compared to the same time last year. Several UK holiday regions also saw a strong year-on-year growth.
The data also found that accommodation providers experienced a growth in ADR (average daily rate) from overseas travellers including those travelling from Poland, Austria, India and Australia.
