The HBAA has partnered with Quality in Tourism (QT) as part of its HBAA Future Fit programme to support its members post-Covid. The partnership will see HBAA promoted the Safe, Clean & LegalTM Scheme to its members in venues and hotels, helping to drive customer confidence among delegates, guests, agencies, staff and employers. This will help to champion hygiene and cleanliness and the HBAA has also worked with the Venue Directory Website (www.venuedirectory.com) to ensure that the accreditation will be presented on any relevant website profiles.
Quality in Tourism and HBAA have worked closely together for a number of years and we are proud to be officially partnering to help the industry demonstrate its integrity and safety during these times.
For agencies & HBAA members
Via partnership with the HBAA, Quality in Tourism is working with HBAA member businesses to assure the quality of your operations. Assessment is used as an impartial benchmark to validate your standards.
The accreditation is straightforward and requires operators to complete an online application form, make payment and email copies of compliance documents to Quality in Tourism. Quality in Tourism will then organise for an assessor to visit the property to make checks before awarding a Safe, Clean and Legal™ accreditation for 12 months if you pass.
About the HBAA
The Hotel Booking Agents Association (HBAA) has been working to support and represent the meetings and events industry since 1997. Their members run businesses that specialise in the procurement of accommodation, meetings and event facilities and services, both in the UK and internationally, on behalf of corporate clients. HBAA is the association that supports them and the hotel and venue companies they work with. They have also devised the ‘Future Fit’ programme, helping their members become the businesses necessary for the post-covid recovery. Find out more about the HBAA or join via their website.
