Professionalism & Hospitality at the Short Stay Show

It’s less than two weeks to go to the Show Stay Show at ExCel, London on 12 March.  The sessions for the day cover a wealth of topics that have been split into different topics depending on your requirements.

The Starter stage is the place to be if you’re just starting your journey in this industry with tips on booking platforms, pricing, investment strategies, promotion and cleanliness.  Whilst the Growth stage will discuss digital marketing, planning for off-peak, imagery and financing to drive your business forward and grow at a sustainable rate.  The Technology stage sees talks from Booking.com to discuss the considerations for channel manager tech and also how machine learning can help drive your business.  The Guest experience is front and centre to any stay and this content stream will help with streamlining bookings, check-in processes and features that will help you attract more guests.  With the rise of the experiential traveller, there are significant benefits to partnering with local activity, trips and tour providers to enhance the guest experience.

The Premium Access Stage will discuss the challenges and trends that the sector is likely to face in the coming years.  Featuring keynote speakers, panels, insight reports and government representation this stage will help you understand more about this growing economy.  Access to this stage is only available to Premium Access tickets which cost £295 + VAT and can be bought here

Our Director, Deborah Heather will be on stage alongside industry peers including STAA, Booking.com, STR and HomeAway.  The panel will be discussing the need for professionalism within the industry, especially with the converging markets of short term rentals and the more traditional hospitality sector.  With the growth of the industry, the calls for quality standards and regulations will only get stronger – how do you ensure that you are operating professionally within this marketplace?  Deborah will be discussing our recent work with the Scottish Government, our Primary Authority Partnership with Cornwall Council and our Safe, Clean & LegalTM accreditation.
