National Quality Assessment Scheme - Holiday, Touring & Camping Parks

		The rating for Holiday Home, Touring and Camping Parks reflect the overall quality of the park. This includes parks, which cater for Touring Caravans and/or Tents and may or may not include Caravan Holiday Homes, some of which may be available for hire.

Scheme Designators have been developed to help consumers understand the different types of accommodation available.

The designators for the Holiday Parks grading scheme are:	Holiday Park Touring Park Camping Park
There will also be the opportunity to combine designators;	Holiday and Camping Park Holiday and Touring Park Touring and Camping Park Holiday, Touring and Camping Park
The choice of designator will be at the park owner’s discretion - whichever best fits his/her business, subject to approval by VisitBritain that it does not mislead the consumer and to ensure a consistent approach across all parks.
A Rose Award is available to be awarded to 4 and 5 Star Holiday Parks. To gain this award the park must have at least one static unit available to hire and must be open for the full letting season (June/July/August). Rose Awards reflect the standard of accommodation.For new applicants, the Rose Award can only be determined at the time of the first visit.

		Complete the application and sector information sheet and send with your payment (made payable to VisitBritain) to Quality in Tourism. We are also able to accept credit card payments (by phone) and BACS payments.
